"Stylish elegant and close to tube and tram"
A lovely hotel with modern decor and individually decorated rooms! Breakfast was excellent with fine range of teas ,perfect fruits, lacy pancakes as well as good breads and hot items.
The rooms were great - top marks for beds, bedding, bathrooms and coffee/tea makers. Fabulous decor and good seating. So easy to access central Brussels.
"Great business hotel"
We stayed for 3 nights in January. The only slight problem we had was that my colleague thought his room was too cold. Mine was absolutely fine, so I have no idea if the problem lay with the room or with him. My room was clean, well decorated, with a good bathroom and excellent facilities. The bed was large and comfortable. The internet was perfectly fast for everyday use, although chargeable after 60mb, which was very quickly reached, but the system worked well, and 5 Euros for 24 hours seemed perfectly reasonable compared to other hotels. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection. The staff were polite and helpful in every area in which I dealt with them. I can't really comment on the hotel's location as I travelled straight from the hotel to where I was working, but it was near the botanical gardens and seemed perfectly safe. I enjoyed the hotel, and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
"The rooms are all large and well equipped"
if decorated in a rather bright and bold way. Bathrooms (or mine) do not live up to the "boutique" aspirations evident in all other aspects of the hotel. - but clean and functional, and all you really need.
= in 2012, 147 of our bathrooms are being renovated and will be more trendy and out-of-the-ordinary.
"The SmoodS bar in the hotel is gorgeous"
The design of it is spectacular, the different seating areas make it really funky and unique. The food in there is very very nice. I was a bit shocked to see a drink was 9 euros, but the alcohol is free poured and I can assure you its just over a triple in alcohol! The staff in Smoods were very friendly and made us feel most welcome.
